A G.O.O.D Look

While I have yet to have the privilege of seeing Kanye live I always enjoy his performances and admire his ability to put on a show. The energy and artistic direction always leave a lasting impression on me. He knows how to effectively manipulate your senses so that you are completely engaged in him and nothing else. He's a visionary....who else starts a song with "Close ur eyes and imagine, feel the magic, Vegas on acid seen thru Yves Saint Laurent glasses" (That gets me every fkn time!)Bold, clean, dynamic, convicted are all words I would use to express what I see when he gets on the stage. I have to say I also love how these pics look like fashion editorials - all the subtle elements layered perfectly. Sure he gets a little full of himself sometimes, "...I love it tho!" Lol

Turq-ish Delight!

Im obsessed with colored hair!!! =)

Turq is one of my favorite colors for summer. Its cooling on a steamy day, its sexy against bronzed skin, and its absolutely eye catching. I especially love it paired with orange, coral, or hot pink.

Ahhh I'm dying for POLYVORE!!!

How did I not discover this sooner!? Well actually I haaaad seen polyvore.com before today but never given it a shot, and regrettably so!

Polyvore is a website where you can virtually put together complete outfits for yourself and other users to view, comment on and buy! With 6.5 million users and access to endless brands and retailers you can really just go nuts. Its like Internet window shopping on steroids.

Another feature I really love is style advice page where you can ask or ANSWER any ones style questions. There's also access to expert advice from designers such as Cynthia Rowley and Rebecca Minkoff who are just two of the participants of the "Expert Series".

I really L O V E this but.....

To my knowledge, so far, Bey has graced the cover of Essence, Billboard (twice), Dazed & Confused, W Magazine, and last but most certainly not least, L'uomo Vogue. (Not in any kind of chronological order) While I LOVE most of the editorials I do find it kind of contrived that they are all coinciding with the release of her new album, 4. And there's a lot of them!

I haven't quite figured out how to explain why I find it annoying but I dont wanna delay this post with thinking lol

MOVING ON! Here is what I think is my favorite one so far! From her W mag spread. Love the makeup and thinking of sharing some shots of my own make-up inspired by the below. Absolutely Love the saturated colors too....This editorial does what its supposed to do - inspire. Greatly shot,styled and photographed. Period.

P.S. Headwraps are a great alternative to summer hats. And beach cover-ups are a go - arrive in style with a gorgeous flowing caftan, or a beautiful draped romper...you'll look great when ur hitting the boardwalk after ;-) and be confortable as well!
